Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to verify information before publication. Breaking stories may be updated as new facts become available.
Fairness
We strive to present significant sides of a story fairly. Allegations are treated as allegations, and, where appropriate, affected individuals or organisations are given an opportunity to respond.
Sources & Attribution
We use credible sources, official statements, documents, interviews, and other reliable information. Social-media claims are treated cautiously and are verified where possible. We name our sources whenever possible; on the rare occasion a source must remain anonymous — typically for their own safety — we say so directly in the story rather than presenting information as if it came from nowhere.
Corrections
When we identify a significant factual error, we correct or update the affected story. Rather than editing silently, we add a visible correction note to the piece stating what was inaccurate, what the accurate information is, and the date of the correction. If you believe a story contains an error, please contact us — we take corrections seriously and will look into it promptly.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are independent of advertising and commercial relationships.
Opinion
Opinion and commentary are clearly distinguished from straight news reporting. Views expressed by contributors do not necessarily represent those of Gonja Pulse.
Photos & Images
Every photo we publish is credited. Where an image is not from the actual event or scene described in the story — for instance, a general illustrative photo — we say so directly in the caption, so readers are never left assuming a photo is documentary evidence of something it isn't.
