CENTRAL GONJA, SAVANNAH REGION — 8 SEPTEMBER 2026: Youth Member of Parliament (YMP) for the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency, Hon. Munkaila Tourrick, has begun formal engagements with key institutions in Central Gonja, leading his team to the District Police Office on Tuesday to introduce his leadership team and open discussions on youth development, community safety and peace.
The meeting brought Hon. Munkaila Tourrick and his team together with the Central Gonja District Police Commander, Hodanu Thomas Kwashie, for an introductory engagement aimed at establishing a constructive working relationship between the YMP's office and the Police.
The discussions touched on youth empowerment, the prevention of social vices, responsible citizenship, community safety and initiatives that can promote peaceful coexistence within the district.
